2008 - 2009 Programming Changes
All NYS teacher Centers have been notified of the Governor’s proposed plan to cut our Teacher Center funding for the remainder of this year. Additionally, there is a 50% cut proposed for next year’s funding.
As a result, the Mini-Grant program, all conferences, and the Recognition Awards program are now cancelled.
We will only be providing professional development activities that are fully enrolled with 20 participants and completely self-sustaining. For a listing of workshops, courses or study groups offered and facilitated by the Director, please email maugusta@nyit.edu
The Graduate Cohorts will not be affected and will be offered as usual.
We will keep you informed via this web site of any and all changes after the legislature meets and decides.
